Players can select different move types by pressing the L or R buttons when hovering over an attack in the Action menu. We've listed each of the Move Styles in Pokémon Legends: Arceus below.

Standard Moves

As in previous Pokémon entries, partner Pokémon can use regular attacks in battle. Selecting Fight and using a move in its standard form allows players to command Pokémon to attack, usually without any augments to their abilities.

Agile Style

The Agile Style in Pokémon Legends: Arceus allows Pokémon to attack their opponents with blistering speed. Selecting Agile Style lets Pokémon initiate an attack that grants the attacker a chance at a second attack but is 25% weaker than a standard move. This attack type is excellent for those aiming to strike their enemy multiple times.

Strong Style

Strong Style moves allow Pokémon to strike foes with an attack 25% stronger than a standard move. Strong Style moves, while more potent than regular attacks and Agile Style moves, are much slower. Using attacks of this nature will starkly decrease the speed at which your Pokémon can attack again.

Keep in mind that using moves in the Agile Style or Strong Style will take more PP to activate than Standard Moves in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, so make sure to plan your use of these moves accordingly.
