How to get Grit quickly in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the latest entry in the Pokémon franchise, and this iteration changes the formula for mainline Pokémon games in various ways. Pokémon is different this time around by introducing new stat mechanics like the Effort Levels, a new system that replaces EVs and IVs from previous games. Players will need Grit items to increase the Effort Levels to bolster their stats in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but what's the fastest way to earn these items?

The fastest way to get Grit items in Pokémon Legends Arceus is by releasing Pokémon. To release Pokémon, return to one of the game's Base Camps and speak to the Galaxy Member NPC that stays there.

Select I'd like to see my Pokémon to bring up a menu of every Pokémon you've caught thus far. Highlight the Pokémon you'd like to part with and select Release. Once you've released your captured companions, you'll earn some Grit items.

There are several types of Grit items in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

• Grit Dust: Raises EL from zero up to level three.
• Grit Gravel: Raises EL from level three up to level five.
• Grit Pebble: Raises EL from level five up to level eight.
• Grit Rock: Raises EL from level eight up to level ten.

To use Grit Items, head to your satchel and select it. Choose which Pokémon you'd like to use the consumable on, and determine which stat you'd like to empower with these items.
