Best Nature for Cranidos and Rampardos in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

What is the best Nature for the Head Butt Pokémon?

Natures play an important role in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. While players don't have to pay attention to a Pokémon's Nature, they affect the Pokémon's performance in battle. The Nature will raise one of the Pokémon's stats by 10% and lower another one by 10%, making a big difference when facing off against opponents. You can find a Pokémon's Nature by visiting its summary screen in-game.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Cranidos and Rampardos, the Head Butt Pokémon, are Rock-type Pokémon with an extremely high attack stat. These Pokémon can deal massive damage to opponents in battle and with access to great physical moves like Head Smash, Double Edge, and Crunch, few Pokémon will stand a chance against them in battle.

  • Adamant: Attack (+), Special Attack (-)
  • Naughty: Attack (+), Special Defense (-)

How to choose the best Nature

Since these Pokémon have a ridiculously high attack stat, it is best to go with a Nature that will complement it by raising it further and lowering other, less important stats. Adamant and Naughty are both great Nature choices for these Pokémon as they will raise the physical attack stat while lower others that Cranidos and Rampardos do not use as much in battle. Players choosing one of these Natures should focus on physical attacks and not special attacks, as those will not be boosted.

Players will ultimately be able to decide which Nature is best for their Pokémon as it really comes down to playstyle and how the Pokémon are most frequently used in battle. If players rely heavily on a specific stat, then they should find a Nature that boosts that stat and lowers another, less important, stat.
