What are Wanted Monsters in Rune Factory 5 and how do Bounties work?

Wanted Monsters in Rune Factory 5 are a special monster variant with Bounties on them. Capturing Wanted monsters can also earn you various items and increase your Seed rank.

If you want to capture a Wanted Monster, you can get Bounties for them by talking to Livia at the Seed Station. When talking to Livia, you must select the I want to check the Wanted Monster list dialogue option.

If there is no option for this, you will need to complete the task to find Hina's mom. After this, you can select Bounties and start trying to complete them.

Once a Bounty is selected, you will need to head to the area listed in the Bounty and hunt for the specified monster. But not any monster of the requested type will do, you will instead need to look for one with a red aura surrounding them.

The red aura indicates the monster is a Wanted Monster. For example, if you took a bounty out for a Slime, you will need to search till you find a Slime that glows red. But once you locate the Wanted Monster, how do you even capture them? 

Well, it's straightforward, to capture the monster, you need to drain its health until it only has a little health left. At this point, you will need to cast the Seal spell at it by hitting the RL button on your switch. 

But keep in mind, It may take a few tries depending on your skill level. If you fail, keep trying until you manage to capture it. After you catch Wanted Monster, turn it in at Livia for your reward.
