Horsetail is a cooking ingredient that can only be found in Liyue, most of which live in the shallow waters along the Stone Gate and Dihua Marsh. While there aren't many Dishes and fishing baits that you can make with Horsetail, you may find yourself needing a few of them once in a while.

Where to Find Horsetail in Genshin Impact

Horsetails only grow among wheat plantations. They're bright pink in color and are easy to spot against the duller surrounding plants. While farming, make sure to stick to the shallow waters and use the wheat to help you locate the Horsetails.

Most Horsetails are located along the water's edge from the Teleport Waypoint north of the Stone Gate, all the way to Dihua Marsh. It's recommended to start your route from the northern Teleport Waypoint and move southward to collect all the Horsetails along the way. How to Plant Horsetail in Genshin Impact

Horsetail can be planted on A Path of Value: Orderly Meadow in the Serenitea Pot. You can purchase seeds from the Realm Depot or obtain them by farming for Horsetail with the Seed Dispensary Gadget. You can plant four Horsetails at a time—they will be ready to harvest in two days and 22 hours.
