Student Happiness in Two Point Campus is an important mechanic. Happier students increase your Campus level, make their test scores better, and have better relationships with other students. Overall, this makes your college a better place. What’s more, for some Star objectives, you’ll need to keep Happiness above a certain level. Below, we’ve detailed how to raise happiness and keep students happy in Two Point Campus
Fulfill their needs
Each student in Two Point Campus has a number of needs including Energy, Food, Toilet Comfort, Entertainment, Hygiene, Drink, and Healthiness. Keeping these needs met will keep them happy and their mood high. Do this with items you place around the campus. For example, benches will prevent energy reduction while beds in dorms will recharge energy. Drinks machines and snack machines will replenish Drink and Food respectively.
Improve the Environment
Environment affects the mood of students. Increase the prestige of rooms the student uses to increase their mood. For instance, a student will be happier in a larger classroom with lots of items, rather than a small cramped one with few. Additionally, you can place items that raise the attractiveness of the surrounding area in order to improve their mood. Finally, in certain levels, you’ll need to use items to keep the campus the right temperature, otherwise students will become unhappy with the temperature.

Make campus lifestyle better
Overall campus lifestyle can make students happy or sad. Make sure there’s lots of clubs, and good accommodation. If a student has a Personal Goal (usually sent to your messages) fulfil it to improve their mood. Additionally, relationships and fees will affect a student’s mood. If everyone is unhappy, try and add more items that boost relationships, or lower tuition fees.
What to do if you can’t make a student happy
If you’re desperate for a few percentages of happiness to complete the level, then there’s a good trick to do that. Simply expel the students with the lowest happiness. Usually, it's best to also target the students with the lowest grades as well, but overall, if you just need a few percent to complete an objective, you should expel unhappy students.
