Final Fantasy XIV has scheduled maintenance on Aug. 28 to Aug. 29

Prepare for some down time.

Get all the Island Sanctuary and raiding in you can now as Final Fantasy XIV is going down for maintenance on Aug. 29. The maintenance was announced on Aug. 26 on the Final Fantasy XIV Lodestone site and is to implement Patch 6.2 hotfixes and changes.

The maintenance is scheduled to take place for four hours between 11:00pm PT, Aug. 28, and 3:00am PT, Aug. 29, with the completion time being subject to change. This will affect all worlds.

As usual, the Home World Transfer Service and the Data Center Travel System will be suspended 30 minutes before maintenance begins and will be unavailable until maintenance has ended. Companion app features will be unavailable until maintenance has ended, and duty recorder data recorded prior to this maintenance can no longer be replayed after this maintenance.

Following the maintenance, the Savage raid tier of Pandaemonium Abyssos will be released on Aug. 30. The maintenance precede will also be the first post 6.2 weekly reset, so it’ll be time to grab some more tomestones and get more of that precious new gear. Just in time for Savage! What’s more, this will be the first reset for the Island Sanctuary and we’ll likely see more players grab the exclusive mounts and minions.
