How to invite your friends in Splatoon 3

To invite your friends to play in Splatoon 3, head to the multiplayer lobby. Once there, press L to open the Match Menu. Scroll over to the tab that looks like two squids. Here you can invite your friends to your lobby. Once they are in, you should be able to see them running around your lobby. You will also need to use the D-pad to switch your game mode to a With Friends one.

How to join your friends in Splatoon 3

Joining your friends in Splatoon 3 is similar to inviting them to your game. Instead of sending them an invite, click on the and choose to join their game. You will then be transported to their lobby until the match starts and you enter a game.

Teamwork is critical in Splatoon 3, and while shouting Booyah at random may seem like a good idea, the best way to play is with friends. Communicating over voice is infinitely better than the few messages you can send using the D-pad in a match.
