How to unlock the Eviscerator in Warhammer 40k Darktide – Eviscerator Guide

It's Chainsword's brother that nobody talks about.

Following the success of the Vermintide series, developer Fatshark are back with their successor, this time set in the world of Warhammer 40k Darktide. In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war. And in such a bleak future, tools of the trade are big, powerful, and brutal. If there is a single weapon that describes the atmosphere of the game perfectly, that would probably be the Eviscerator.

What is Eviscerator in Warhammer 40k Darktide and how to unlock it?

The Eviscerator is a powerful melee weapon that is class-specific to the Zealot. You can unlock the Eviscerator when you reach level 11. If you are only starting with the Zealot class, you will have a long way to go, but the payoff will be more than worth it. It is arguably the most fun melee weapon to wield in Warhammer 40k Darktide.

The Eviscerator is a powerful but cumbersome weapon. It takes a while to swing it, so you must time your attacks correctly. Its normal attack makes a sweeping motion that can take out multiple enemies at once. This will be really useful when fighting a Horde. If you use its special attack, your Zealot will rev it just like a chainsaw and thrust it into a single target for massive, sustained damage.

In the Warhammer 40k universe, the Eviscerator is what you would get if you took a two-handed claymore and fused it with a giant chainsaw. Its smaller, one-handed brother is called the Chainsword and is widely used by shock troops throughout the Imperium. The forces of Chaos also favor it due to its brutal nature and effectiveness.
