To level up your character in Warhammer 40k Darktide, you must play and complete missions. Every time the player completes a mission, they will earn some experience. The experience earned will go towards leveling your Trust Rank, which unlocks cosmetics and weapons every time you go up a few ranks. That said, so far beyond completing missions, there are no other ways to level up. Luckily you can level up fast by just completing missions and a few things that increase your experience gained in Warhammer 40k Darktide.

In short, players can earn even more experience from missions by completing side objectives or playing on a higher difficulty. Playing on higher difficulties, such as Malice or Heresy increases how much XP you earn to reward you for braving challenging missions. We recommend using this method to boost the rewards and experience earned so that you can level up fast. You should also make sure you are playing with at least three or two friends to manage the higher-difficulty missions.

Beyond hard missions, side objectives or special conditions are the next best option for leveling up fast in Warhammer 40k Darktide. Both mission types increase the amount of experience you get, so you can't go wrong with either one. If you want to find a mission with a side objective or special condition, look for one that has a small icon on them when viewing the mission board.

Go after missions with side objectives, such as finding grimoires or missions with special conditions. Both mission types increase the amount of XP you get, so you can't go wrong with either one. You can find missions with both side objectives and conditions by looking for ones with little icons on them on the mission board. You can also find and purchase various curios that sometimes will increase your experience gain. We recommend grabbing one of these curios whenever you find them, as they can help you earn more XP when farming missions in Darktide.
