Warzone 2 YouTuber unhappy with recent changes fires back at Activision

Do you agree with the criticism?

Call of Duty Warzone 2 Season 3 has arrived with massive changes to the game, bringing new cosmetics, weapons, tools, and other equipment. With these seasonal updates, players also experience various gameplay changes that fix different glitches, bugs, and other issues. However, the Warzone community is largely feeling unhappy, and mostly unheard, as prominent creators point out some of the major drawbacks of the popular battle royale.

In a recent Twitter post, Warzone YouTuber @iamExpel highlights some of the features many players feel need implemented into Warzone 2. Most of the points mentioned in the post reflect on the current state of the game and how it could be improved with community suggestions. The YouTuber also compares Warzone 2 servers to Fortnite's superior stability, highlighting issues players face with desync and higher tick rates.

Some of the points @ExpelGG points to include regular updates to fix bugs, add more buy stations, and optimize footstep audio. Before the launch of Warzone 2, the community saw creators playtesting the game, and Expel mentions that this should be done with every update. He mentions that the developers can allow 300 creators to playtest the new season a week before its release, and this way, they can identify the problems early on.

The creator also mentions that the developers need to build a strong line of communication with the community, and this can be done in a number of ways, including in-game surveys as done in Fortnite and Apex Legends. Many players can relate to these complaints, as noted by the virality and exposure of the tweets, not to mention the comments.

As regular Warzone 2 players, we are used to the high tick rate, desync, and audio issues since the game first came out. At some point, everyone has rage-quit out of Warzone 2 after dying to opponents unfairly. Some gunfights even feel like you and your teammates never stood a chance due to these persisting issues. While there is no official comment from the studio, the community hopes some of these changes will arrive in the game, ideally before Season 3 Reloaded.
