Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory Demo is available!

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

If you're a big fan of the Kingdom Hearts franchise, then you will be happy to know that Square Enix and Disney are still adding to it. However, this is a bit different than you might expect, because Melody of Memory is a rhythm action game, which contains both single and multiplayer! You will run along a track and attempt to hit specific notes with precise timing to add to your chain. The more notes you can hit at the exact right time will determine your score and rank after the level is done!

There are over 20 characters that will be playable in the game, including the likes of Sora, Donald Duck,  Roxas, Axel, Xion, Riku, Dream Eaters, Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Aladdin, Hercules, Simba, Mulan, Beast, and Goofy. It also includes over 140 songs from the previous game and the feature worlds of Disney! That is a lot of music to get through, so the replayability appears to be limitless.

If you are a bit skeptical about this type of game, then you should be happy to know that a demo version is now available depending on your time zone. If you can't find it on October 14th, which is likely, unless you have access to the Japanese Nintendo shop, then you will likely have to wait until the 15th to get a chance to play it. If you are bursting at the seems to see what the game is like, you can find the demo played out in full in the video featured below.

Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory releases in Japan on November 11th and Worldwide on November 13th, 2020 on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
