The May 9, 2023, update to Redfall was a small one, bringing just three tweaks, mostly involving loading and saving issues. If you were encountering an infinite loading screen or crashing while fast traveling, these should now be resolved.

I had to close my game down a couple of times because of loading screens that just would not go away, so I'm happy to know that I probably won't encounter those again. Probably...

Gameplay
- Fixed an infinite loading screen issue that resulted from suspending and resuming gameplay while Fast Traveling across the map.
- Fixed a save system crash that resulted from suspending and resuming gameplay while Fast Traveling across the map.
Servers
- Updated game server heartbeat logic for improved backend communication with live servers.
And that's it. Short but sweet! I'm personally disappointed that the patch didn't address any of the visual graphical hiccups, gameplay bugs, or performance issues. Still, hopefully, we'll get another update that does focus on those sooner rather than later.
