Cars play a big part in commuting across the Night City in Cyberpunk 2077. Whether you travel from point A to B or are on the run from law enforcement, you will still need a reliable set of wheels to get you to where you need to be on time. Personally, I like luxury cars, and the famous six-wheelers blew my mind when I first saw them in the game. This guide will help you obtain many cool-looking cars in the game completely free.
All free Cars in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 and their locations
Alvarado Vato - Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
All six-wheeler fans will absolutely love this car, as there is a tricked-out Alvarado V4FC 580 Playboy version owned by Cesar Diego Ruiz. This incredible car sports a shiny golden paint job with customized decals on it, while the interior is adorned with red leather seats and a recognizable Alvarado dashboard. Perfect for luxury lovers looking for a visually loud convertible cruiser, you can obtain Alvarado Vato as an optional reward for completing Beat on the Brat: The Glen.
Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech - Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
This incredible sports coupe amalgamates the iconic 80s-style muscle cars with a modernized twist. It is one of the fastest cars in the game, with a top speed of 169 mph. Its performance is pretty impressive as it uses an internal combustion engine instead of being fully electric. To get this magnificent piece of automotive history, complete the side GIG Sex on Wheels.
Thorton Mackinaw Beast - Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
Thornton is a ubiquitous car manufacturer in Cyberpunk 2077. Also known as American Made, they are staple cars most commonly seen on streets daily, but the Mackinaw "Beast" is quite the opposite. This vehicle is a heavy-duty, entropy-flared utility vehicle, preferring necessity over style philosophy. It's also made to be apt in vehicle combat, with bulletproof additions to its cache. To obtain this four-wheeled tank, complete the The Beast In Me quest.
Archer Hella EC-D I360 - Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
This Hella is an offshoot compared to other Archer sedans you'll come across in the game. A customized and personalized vehicle version, it sports a clever homage to CDPR's Witcher series on the dashboard in the shape of Geralt's horse. It's also the first vehicle you get when playing Cyberpunk 2077, making it perhaps the most well-known car in the game.
Thorton Galena GA40xt Rattler - Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
The Rattler is a prime example of an Entropism style in Cyberpunk 2077 (although this car looks more like an actual case in proof of the theory of entropy, given it's literally falling apart as you drive it). Ensure not to get into any firefights in it, as enemies are just as likely to get hurt engaging you as you are while trying to escape it. Updating your tetanus shots is mandatory if you decide to play the Nomad lifepath anyway, but using this car without it should be blocked by an in-game mechanic. This car is a bit too adventuristic for my taste, but if you really want to obtain it, you'll get it for free during the beginning of the Nomad lifepath during the These Boots Are Made for Walkin' quest.
Quadra Type-66 Cthulhu - Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
Quadra is a manufacturer specializing in stylized sports cars with a nod to the late 20th-century muscle cars. The first thing that comes to my mind after seeing the Type-66 model is a famous Ford Mustang. The Cthulhu takes the styling up a notch with its rear wing and gunmetal gray color. It's also tuned up to the symbolic 666 hp, allowing you to burn some serious rubber after dark. To obtain this demon of a car, complete the The Beast In Me quest.
Rayfield Caliburn - Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
If you're a fan of hypercars and are looking for the very best the world of Cyberpunk 2077 can offer, Rayfield Caliburn is the car for you. This unique work of perfection can achieve 1,660hp, making it the fastest car in the game, and the fact that it vaguely resembles Bugatti Veyron doesn't hurt its looks. You can obtain this car for free after you finish the Ghost Town quest and reach 40 street cred during Murk Man Returns Again Once More Forever.
Jonny Silverhand's Porsche 911 II Turbo - Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
The Porsche 911 II Turbo is probably the most iconic car in Cyberpunk 2077. It's one of the very few licensed cars in the game, sporting an actual Porsche badge and the cache that made the brand one of the most desirable car manufacturers in the world today. You can obtain this magnificent car after gaining access to Jonny Silverhand's storage after completing the Chippin' In quest.
Quadra Type-66 640 TS - Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
This Type-66 is the base model from which Cthulhu derived, but it still has incredible performance and that classic muscle car look. It has multiple variations with more horsepower, but I found 555 hp output to be more than enough for my racing needs. What brought even more popularity to this famous vehicle is the appearance in Cyberpunk Edgerunners Netflix show. To get the Type-66, complete all gigs for Dino Dinovic.
Mizutani Shion Coyote - Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
This Shion MZ2 modification sports an oversized rear wing complemented by extensive rear modifications that make its lines even more aggressive than the base model. Sporting 482 horsepower in a light cache is the definition of Japanese automotive, and if you're a fan of JDM, this car will be something to aspire to. Complete the With A Little Help From My Friends quest to obtain the Coyote.
Thorton Colby CX410 Butte - Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
If you're a fan of pickups with a lift job done on them, The Butte will be perfect for you. As a Thorthon, this car is a common sight across the Night City and provides great utility and utilitarian simplicity in its design. You can get one in multiple colors and for free after completing the Dressed to Kill quest.
Sport R-7 Sterling - Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
The Sterling is an R-7 variant introduced in the Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty expansion, with plenty of new features. If you're looking for a grand coupe cruiser that looks one of a kind, this is the car for you. To obtain this automotive rarity, complete all side GIGs for Mr. Hands in Dogtown.
