Is Cities Skylines 2 Ultimate Edition worth it?

The Cities Skylines 2 Ultimate Edition offers not only the base game but also an expansion pass, which will unlock all sorts of expansions, asset packs, content packs, and other unlockable sets. I'll tell you below if it's worth buying.

Should you buy Cities Skylines 2 Ultimate Edition?

In typical 2023 fashion, Cities Skylines 2 Ultimate Edition gets you an expansion pass letting you have access to all the Cities Skylines 2 future expansions or packs released within the next six months, including:

Since the game doesn't have too much custom content out right now and having access to the expansion packs will only contribute to your collection, I recommend you buy the Cities Skylines 2 Ultimate Edition.

Because so far, Cities Skylines 2 does not have that many buildings and objects to place, buying the Ultimate Edition of Cities Skylines 2 will give you more to work with if you can overlook the game's optimization issues.
