Remnant 2 The Awakened King release date

The Awakened King DLC for Remnant 2 received a November 14, 2023, release date via the Remnant 2 Twitter. The DLC releases for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 so all players can enjoy it. Aside from coming so soon, the DLC also takes players back to my favorite area, Losomn.

The Awakened King explores the return of The One True King, who Faelin and Faerin overthrew. In the King's return, he becomes a tyrant, and it's up to the player to stop him before he rids the world of the betrayers who rose against him. Fortunately, new weapons are added to aid you in this quest.

The DLC aims to build a more expansive world, giving the player new areas to explore in Losomn. The Awakened King areas work like the game's other areas, being rolled randomly with random quests, items, encounters, and more. The new area has a coastal village vibe and promises to include new enemies and bosses to face.

In addition to the new area, players can also play a new archetype, the Ritualist. The Ritualist uses status effects to debuff enemies, making it a great support role. Combining the Ritualist with other archetypes allows for new strategies and combos, perhaps earning it a spot among the best archetypes in Remnant 2.
