How to Unlock Modeling in BitLife
Before you can step in front of a casting director, there are a few requirements to meet. Modeling is a special career in BitLife that requires the Model Job Pack, which you can purchase through the BitLife Marketplace. Players who own Boss Mode already have it included. Once unlocked, here is what to do before your first audition:
- Boost your Looks stat: A high Looks stat is essential for getting casting calls. Visit the gym regularly to maintain it, or use plastic surgery as an adult if needed.
- Take modeling lessons: From age 13, you can take modeling lessons through the Mind and Body tab. Building this skill early gives you a head start when you start applying for gigs.
- Get your headshots taken: You need to take a professional headshot before you can attend any modeling auditions or casting calls in the game.
- Apply for casting calls: Once your headshot is done, browse the casting calls under the Modeling tab. Pay attention to the desired model gender, age, and type listed for each gig, as these affect whether you qualify for the audition.
How Does Auditioning Work in BitLife?
Similar to the real world, auditioning in BitLife depends on the scenario and the casting director's requirements. Upon hitting the Audition button for any gig, you will see a paragraph summarizing the role requirements. Understanding and portraying these elements accurately is the key to cracking a gig.
So, how do you portray these requirements? Along with the summary, you will find three parameters with sliders. These parameters are;
- Attitude: It describes how serious you want your pose to be.
- Poise: It describes how elegant or graceful you wish to portray your pose.
- Quirkiness: Measures how funny or silly you want your expressions to be.
You portray the requirements by adjusting the slider values of these parameters to match them ideally. Let me explain this using five scenarios to make this much easier to understand.
Scenario 1

If you look at the audition brief above, it says the director needs nothing but elegance and grace. As a result, my attitude and quirkiness values are low, whereas my poise is 100%.
Scenario 2

In the second scenario, the direction suggests you have too much attitude. So, I bumped my attitude to the maximum and my quirkiness to a very low level, while adding a bit of poise.
Scenario 3

Here, the casting team tells you to be unique. As a result, I increased all my values to 100% to be weird and unique!
Scenario 4

My casting director wanted me to act like a Bond girl, so I became extremely serious, with a high attitude and poise, but a low quirkiness rating.
Scenario 5

My director told me to pose a silly 80s dance move in this final scenario. Since I must be funny, I bumped the quirkiness while adding some poise rating to match the 80s vibe.
As mentioned earlier, it's all about portraying the requirements. So, if your director needs you to be serious, increase your attitude; if they need you to be weird or funny, bump your quirkiness; and if they want you to be elegant or graceful, max your Poise value. If you understand the briefing instructions, auditioning will be a piece of cake in BitLife.
How to Read Any Audition Prompt in BitLife
Not every audition prompt will appear in the answer chart above, since new ones are added to the game over time. When you encounter an unfamiliar casting prompt, use these keyword rules to work out the correct slider settings on your own:
- Bold, dominant, or commanding language (fierce, aggressive, in charge, intense, HBIC): lean toward high Attitude.
- Elegant, graceful, or composed language (poised, sophisticated, suave, demeanor): lean toward high Poise.
- Funny, weird, or creative language (quirky, lively, whimsical, unhinged, over the top): lean toward high Quirkiness.
- Celebrity or character prompts: think about how that character is actually portrayed. A villain like Miranda Priestly is all Attitude and Poise, while a comedic character like Jim Carrey is pure Quirkiness.
Local Gigs vs. Elite Gigs in BitLife Modeling
Casting calls in BitLife's modeling career are split into two tiers: local gigs and elite gigs. Local gigs are available right from the start of your modeling career and are found under the casting calls menu. They are the backbone of early progression and help you build up your gig count and reputation.
Elite gigs unlock after you have been promoted to Elite Model rank and completed at least five local gigs. These high-paying fashion and commercial gigs are more competitive, meaning the casting directors will pay closer attention to whether your audition slider values are exactly right. Elite gigs are where the biggest paychecks and fame gains happen, so mastering the answer chart above becomes even more important at this stage.
What Is a Go-See in BitLife?
A Go-See is a separate modeling mechanic that becomes available once you have joined a modeling agency. Unlike a standard audition, where you adjust sliders, a Go-See has you meeting directly with a client or casting director in a more interview-style format. The goal is to make the client as satisfied as possible by agreeing to their reasonable requests and giving professional answers to their questions. Keeping your responses positive and praising the client where appropriate goes a long way toward building your reputation. Successfully completing Go-Sees raises your profile and helps you land better, higher-paying gigs down the line.
BitLife Model Career Path
The modeling career in BitLife has five distinct ranks you progress through over time. Each promotion requires consistent performance in auditions, gigs, and Go-Sees, as well as maintaining strong Looks, Health, and Happiness stats. Here is the full career ladder from start to finish:
- Body Part Model - The entry-level rank. This is where every modeling career begins.
- Stock Photo Model - Your first promotion, unlocked by working hard and completing gigs consistently.
- Catalog Model - The mid-tier rank, bringing better pay and more gig variety.
- Elite Model - Reaching this rank unlocks elite gigs and opens the door to Fashion Week invitations.
- Supermodel - The pinnacle of the BitLife modeling career, with the highest earnings and maximum fame potential.
BitLife Model Audition FAQ
Yes. Modeling is a special career that requires the Model Job Pack, available through the BitLife Marketplace. If you own Boss Mode, the pack is already included, and you do not need to buy it separately.
To unlock elite gigs, you need to reach the Elite Model rank and complete at least five local gigs first. Once both conditions are met, elite casting calls will become available alongside the standard local ones.
A Go-See is a client-meeting mechanic that becomes available after you join a modeling agency. Instead of adjusting sliders, you answer interview-style questions from a casting director or client. Giving positive, professional answers and agreeing to reasonable requests helps raise your modeling profile.
Supermodel is the highest rank in the BitLife modeling career. You reach it by progressing through Body Part Model, Stock Photo Model, Catalog Model, and Elite Model while consistently performing well in auditions, gigs, and Go-Sees.
Read the keywords in the prompt carefully. Commanding or bold language points to high Attitude, graceful or elegant language points to high Poise, and funny or creative language points to high Quirkiness. For celebrity and character prompts, think about how that character behaves and set the sliders accordingly.
