Honkai Star Rail players want this feature in the next update

Almost every gacha game forces you to choose between a female and a male MC to play through the game. However, that choice isn't always easy, which is why Honkai Star Rail players are asking for a new feature in the next update.

Redditor NahIdKill took to the Honkai Star Rail subreddit to ask the rest of the players whether they would like a feature to switch or to have both Trailblazers available in the game. While I hadn't thought of this before and I'm pretty happy with my choice of Stella, I think this would be a really great feature to add to the game.

Reddit user KlausGamingShow agrees.

Considering there are only small differences between the two MCs in Honkai Star Rail, mostly cosmetic and in some mannerisms, it certainly makes sense. The story isn't impacted either, so a switch should be possible. Reddit user u/brimwithno also echoed the same sentiment, adding that unique gear or items for each MC would help add a little variety.

Having both at the same time could prove more difficult to execute. Some have mentioned the possibility of having one of the Trailblazers relaxing on the Express while the other goes and explores. Not only does this avoid any complications with the gameplay as it is, but it also allows for the occasional bit of interaction between Stella and Caelus.

You could also have one of the Trailblazers follow behind your chosen or preferred option. This would also allow for interactions between the two, as well as see how they interact with all of the NPCs beyond the confines of the Express. I assume this would be more difficult to implement, but it would be fun to see.

All in all, I think even people who are happy with their choice, like I am, would be absolutely fine with a feature like this being implemented. It would be of great help to anyone who ended up not liking their choice. Hopefully, with so much interest, Mihoyo will consider adding this feature to Honkai Star Rail in future updates.
