All Timed Events in Control Apex Legends

Timed Events occur throughout Control mode in Apex Legends to keep players on their toes. Use them to your advantage to pull further ahead with your lead or come back from behind. Timed Events can occur multiple times, and one occurring does not make it less likely to happen. Let’s take a look at every Timed Event currently in Control mode for Apex Legends.

Timed Events in Control

Currently, there are two types of Timed Events in Control.

Airdrops

Several Airdrops containing weapons and/or armor will fall from the sky in a random pattern. Any team can loot them. Read the full Airdrops guide here.

Capture Bonuses

Capture Bonuses awards a point bonus to the team that owns a certain Zone at the end of the event period. Only one Zone has the bonus during the event. Read the full Capture Bonuses guide here.

Lockouts

While not officially under the ‘Timed Event’ umbrella, as it is not random, one team owning all three Zones will activate a Lockout. The game will end if the losing team doesn't capture a Zone for 90 seconds. Neutralizing a Zone isn’t enough. Read the full Lockout guide here.
