Seer is a stealthy tracker legend that utilizes "microdrones" to seek out and eliminate his enemies. During EA Play Live, Apex Legends game director Chad Grenier shared Seer's abilities, but no official description has been listed on the Apex Legends website yet. Here are all Seer's abilities described by Grenier.

  • Passive - When aiming down sights, Seer has a heartbeat sensor that gives hints on where enemies might be.
  • Tactical - Seer sends his microdrones out of his chest to reveal and track enemies.
  • Ultimate - Seer sends out hundreds of microdrones in a sphere to a specific area. All enemies moving quickly through the sphere are tracked.

Much like Bloodhound and Crypto, Seer's ability kit is designed to track and locate enemies. However, according to Grenier, Seer's abilities are going to be more about "precise and lingering information." Grenier also elaborated on Seer's ultimate ability and how it can affect gameplay in terms of stealth. While Seer's ultimate will track enemy location within the sphere, it uses footprints to track location. However, if players are moving slowly, the footprints will not track.

During EA Play Live, Grenier also hinted at upcoming content in the Ranked Arenas mode coming to Season 10. Now that Arenas has been established for a season, Ranked will introduce competitive matchmaking to the 3 vs. 3 game mode. According to Grenier, Arenas mode has new maps being worked on and a surprise for the future of Arenas. More information may be revealed before Season 10 releases.
