Account Requirements for Gifting in Apex Legends

  • Have Login Verification turned on
  • Be Account Level 10
  • Be in-game friends with the player you want to send to for at least two weeks

Check out our Apex Legends Login Verification guide to make sure you have it enabled. Getting to account level 10 requires playing a few games to earn enough XP. Being in-game friends with the player does require you to add them as an Apex Legends friend and not just friends on the platform or launcher. There does not seem to be an indicator of how long you have been friends in Apex Legends, so try to keep track if you intend to send a gift to a new friend. Once all the requirements are met, you can purchase a gift.

To send a gift, go to the store tab, select an item or bundle, then select the gift option next to purchase. You can only send up to five gifts a day, and you can only purchase them with Apex Coins. Make sure you verify that your friend's username is correct, then select it to send it to them. Gifts are non-refundable, so be careful when selecting the username and gift you want to send.
