How to get the Breakfest Achievement in Back 4 Blood

Kill that Monstrous Breaker!

The Breakfest Achievement requires players to kill a Monsterous Breaker after destroying all of its armor. While the achievement seems straightforward, there are some specific requirements to complete it.

To get the Breakfest Achievement in Back 4 Blood, players must be playing on Nightmare difficulty and kill the Monsterous Breaker on the Clean Sweep level in Act One. Once at the gas station, a Monsterous Breaker will appear and have four armor spots to destroy.

Monsterous Breaker Armor Points

  • Left part of chest
  • Outer-left thigh
  • Outer-right thigh
  • Upper-right back

Shooting the armor will make a different sound and show a different hit marker than normal shots, so players can track if they are hitting the armor. To make sure that all armor points are destroyed, players can check how many glowing weak spots are visible. If there are four weak spots visible, it's time to kill the Breaker.

Killing a Breaker is no easy feat, especially on Nightmare difficulty. To kill the Breaker, it is recommended that players take as many grenades or molotovs as possible and equip weapons with high-capacity magazines or high damage output. However, since the encounter is early in the campaign, securing a good loadout is difficult.

The Monsterous Breaker will chase the nearest player and unleash barrages of attacks. While one player is running from the Breaker, the others can take out the armor points from all sides. If players get too far from the Breaker, it will perform a leaping attack, which if dodged, provides an opening for players to easily hit its armor spots.
