The Ridden get buffs too.

Corruption Cards are modifiers that buff the Ridden in Back 4 Blood's campaign significantly. Each the beginning of each level, players are given several Corruption Cards to select. Each will buff their enemies in various ways. Players can always check which Corruption cards are active at the beginning of a level just above the active cards menu (shown above.)

Some of these Corruption Cards offer rewards should players complete levels with empowered Ridden under the effect of these buffs, like a large amount of Copper to spend on upgrades at the next level's shop.

Be prepared for a challenge when activating these cards, though, as the Ridden gains considerable strength with each card. Make sure you read up on what the Corruption Card does before applying it, so you're aware of the oncoming hazards.

Back 4 Blood is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC
