Daughter of Lolth - Minthara - Good Recruitment by Rukongai

If you've always wanted to have Minthara in your party, but you didn't want to slaughter the tieflings, now you can defeat her without killing her. With this mod installed, Minthara will disappear in a puff of smoke when you defeat her at the goblin camp, and later you can find her alive in Moonrise Towers and recruit her as usual. This allows you to have both Minthara and Halsin in the party.

JWL Soul Smithing by Jewels

Sometimes you fall in love with a certain weapon, only to have to leave it behind when find a better one, or when its damage output can't keep up with your level progression. JWL Soul Smithing lets you use special anvils and spend Soul Coins to upgrade your gear. Every time you increase the rarity of a weapon, it gets a +1 weapon enchantment that improves its damage and hit chance.

Native Camera Tweaks by Ersh

While the camera in BG3 works perfectly fine, Native Camera Tweaks improves it, unlocking the camera's zoom, pitch, and travel. This allows you to zoom in close or wander far away from your party. Though it's not a game-changing feature, it certainly helps to get better screenshots or inspect NPCs up close, adding to the game's immersion.

WASD Character Movement by Ch4nKyy

WASD Character Movement emulates the control mapping of isometric or third-person games and allows you to move around using only the keyboard, with the camera following behind. You can easily switch back to moving only the camera (as it is by default in the game) just by toggling Caps Lock.

Aether's Immersive UI by Aetherpoint

If you feel the UI sometimes gets in the way or there is too much clutter on the screen, Aether's Immersive UI can add that extra layer of immersion. The mod hides all the UI until you hover it with the cursor; everything is still there, but you can hide it all to enjoy a more cinematic experience of Faerûn. It is even more enjoyable if you combine it with WASD Character Movement.

Hirelings Unleashed - All in one by Khione

Many players had complained about the restricted options for Hirelings in BG3. Those premade characters feel empty; they lack a personality and voice of their own, and they have nothing to do with the story. With Hirelings Unleashed, you can replace the default hirelings with NPCs from the game, such as Priestess Gut, Kagha, Dror Ragzlin, and True Soul Nere. For my playthrough, I chose to imagine a dreadful situation in which my character revives her deceased enemies and uses them to fight for her; that is how every major NPC she killed ended up returning to her party as an empty vessel under her command.

Tav's Hair Salon by Toarie

Tav's Hair Salon adds a plethora of new hairstyles to the character creation menu, especially for Elves, Half-Elves, Humans, Tieflings, and Drows. Each hairstyle is fully compatible with the base game, including options for color and highlights. If you found the base game's hairstyles lacking, then Tav's Hair Salon might just be the solution.

Party Limit Begone by Sildur

Party Limit Begone allows you to increase the size of your party to a staggering 16 members. If you like to play with friends, this mod also allows for co-op between eight players. As someone who enjoys the Companion characters in BG3, I love being able to have all of them join me on my adventures at once! This has the added bonus of making combat easier, as all your party members will join the battle together.

Customizer's Compendium by AlanaSP

Customizer's Compendium is the ultimate character customization mod for Baldur's Gate 3. It allows players to use options formerly restricted to NPCs in the character creation screen, unlocking a treasure trove of new looks. Because these options are already included in the base game, Customizer's Compendium is easy to install and highly compatible with other mods. If you're the kind of player who spends hours creating your character, then I can't recommend Customizer's Compendium enough.

Basket Full of Equipment by AnteMaxx

If you want to strut through the Forgotten Realms in style, then Basket Full of Equipment has you covered. This mod adds hundreds of new equipment items for every armor slot in the game. What's more, some items come with custom-made spells and enchantments that make them feel truly unique. However, the best feature of this mod has to be its stat scaling; in other words, each item will get stronger as your level increases. This way, you never feel pressured to abandon your favorite outfit for a different piece of armor.
