Once you've graduated from high school, head to the Special Careers section of the Occupations menu and choose Acting. You can choose among an array of television roles, but use the script quality and role to gauge how well you could play it.

Don't worry if the fit gauge is not too high—auditions are free, and you can still land a role that isn't the best fit for you with the power of makeup. If you're having trouble landing a role, try playing as Extras first to build experience.

After landing an audition, you can choose to accept the offer or ask your Talent Agent (if you have one) to negotiate the pay. Television roles are paid per episode, and each season lasts one year. On that note, you can earn a fortune from shows with 50 episodes per season.

During your tenure, you'll be asked to do some crazy stunts, kiss co-workers, or eat weird food. It's up to you to decide how to approach those situations. Likewise, you'll also regularly appear in interviews and talk shows—make sure to leave a good impression!

After a year, the show's season will end, and it will either renew for a new season or be canceled. You're only allowed to take one job at a time, so if you're sick of the role, you can head to the TV Actor section of the Occupation menu and select Quit.
