Bloodborne now playable on PC with uncapped framerate

Now get max FPS in Bloodborne!

When Bloodborne was released back in 2015, it was lauded for its gameplay and theme and was even acclaimed to be one of the greatest video games among fans. The PlayStation-exclusive game was undoubtedly great, however, it could only be played at 30 FPS and on console, until now.

ShadPS4, a PlayStation 4 emulator for PC, now allows for Bloodborne to be played at uncapped framerate, and on PC. You can check out the demo video above where the uploader shows the gameplay via the emulator; the framerate isn't stable however, but what we're getting here is exceptional compared to the 30 FPS cap.

A related post on Reddit gained traction and community members applauded the emulator developers for their efforts even several years after the game's launch. User _theMAUCHO_ said, "Their passion and talent is honestly out of this world." Another user added, "They somehow have more passion than Sony."

As for why an official PC release hasn't come out yet (despite all the demand), no one knows for sure what's happening behind the scenes. Until then, hopefully, the ShadPS4 emulator developers manage to bring a playable version of the game for PC. It's still unclear how much time it'll take, but the admin keeps fans posted with all the latest developments with the port on their Twitter page and website.

While Sony holds the rights for Bloodborne, we haven't seen any enthusiasm from them about the game lately. On the contrary, a top executive at FromSoftware (the makers of the game), not so long ago declared that they were happy to see players asking for a remake, which could bode well for its future.
