All Artifacts Abilities in Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies

Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies mode was finally revealed just a few weeks ahead of the game's release. With this reveal, we found out that Treyarch will be giving us a much darker experience this go around with the introduction of occult themes. With these themes come powerful artifacts with supernatural abilities.

On Der Anfang, Vanguard's new zombie's map, five Dark Aether entities have been revealed, and the player is bound to them through their artifacts. You have Kortifex the Deathless who is bound by an artifact to the main villain of the game, Oberführer Von List.

Von List is using this artifact to raise the dead. Then you have the four other Dark Aether entities: Saraxis the Shadow, Norticus the Conqueror, Inviktor the Destroyer, and Bellekar the Warlock, who are all in a revolt against Kortifex. Using their artifacts will grant you abilities to use against the undead hordes. These abilities will work similarly to the field upgrades introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies.

Dragon of Saraxis

The Dark Aether entity, known as Saraxis the Shadow, will be bound to the player through the artifact, the Dragon of Saraxis. This artifact will give the player the ability known as Energy Mine. This power will create a mine of pure energy, that detonates to deal explosive damage when enemies get within its proximity.

Horn of Norticus

The Horn of Norticus is the artifact that binds the player to the Dark Aether entity Norticus the Conqueror. It will give the player Norticus's Frost Blast power. This ability will create a frost storm in a radius around the player, damaging and slowing zombies caught in it.

Sword of Inviktor

The Dark Aether entity, Inviktor the Destroyer, is bound to the player through the Sword of Inviktor artifact. This sword bestows the Ring of Fire ability to its user. This ability will create a ring of fire around the player that will boost damage for the players standing inside of it, and deal burn damage to enemies that enter it.

The Mask of Bellekar

The Mask of Bellekar is the artifact bound to the Dark Aether entity Bellekar the Warlock. This artifact will give the player the power to use her Aether Shroud ability. It will allow the player to phase into the Dark Aether for a short period of time. During this time the player will become invisible to all enemies.

Those are all the Artifacts Abilities that have been revealed to us for Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies. We may have more Artifact Abilities introduced to us after the game's release, but as of now, Treyarch has given us plenty to sink our teeth into.
