How to get open beta early access for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Activision is allowing players to get an early taste of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. In recent years, the company has become accustomed to offering both closed and open Betas to players, but the closed Betas are generally for pre-orderers. This is no different, as it will also be open to those who pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

How can I access the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta?

You will be able to play in the Beta if you pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. That is normally the case, although many YouTubers and content creators receive special invites before the games come out, too. So if you can't pre-order the game, you can always watch a Call of Duty streamers like JGOD and Zlaner.

When will the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta release?

We currently do not have any details on when the Beta will release. Activision told fans through their Steam page that they will reveal more details about when the Beta will start in the next few weeks. The game releases October 28, so it will be before then.

According to Steam, the Beta will last at least two days. So if you get access to the Beta, you can be sure to have two days' worth of content, most likely over the weekend.
