How to Cook Food in Core Keeper

Something smells good!

To cook food in Core Keeper, you will need to craft a Cooking Pot. With a Cooking Pot, you can cook all food in the game by placing two types of food items inside the Cooking pot.

Combining two types of food will create unique recipes that give you special buffs to healing, movement speed, and combat. If this sounds great to you, start by crafting a Cooking Pot by placing a Workbench down.

You can make a Workbench with eight wood. Get the wood you need by chopping roots down that you can find throughout the starting biome. Once you have the wood, craft the Workbench you need and place it.

After placing the Workbench, you can craft the Cooking Pot with two Wood and six Copper Bars. You already know how to get the wood, but you will need a Furnace and some Copper ore to get Copper Bars.

To make the Furnace, you will need 20 Dirt Walls, and to get the Copper Ore, you will need to mine Copper Ore Walls. Both can be found by just mining and exploring the starting biome.

So explore, and once you have all materials, you can get Copper Bars by melting Copper oOe inside the Furnace. After you have the bars, go ahead and craft the Cooking Pot.

When you get the Cooking Pot, you will be able to cook food by placing either plants or meat inside it. But make sure to have two types of food as you will not be able to create recipes with just one food item.
