Where to find the stolen medicine in Backs Against the Wall

In short, you can find the stolen medicine inside a cabinet in a room on the top floor of the apartment building that the quest will direct you towards. However, before you can retrieve the stolen medicine, you will need to deal with a Cyberpsychous stricken man, who is also the person that stole the medicine in the first place. But before we get to that, let's start from the beginning.

First, you will need to start the quest by heading to the location, as shown above. Once there, Regina will call you and offer you the GIG to retrieve the stolen medicine from the nearby apartment building.

After the call, you will want to make your way to the apartment building as shown above and enter it. Then once inside, climb the stairs until you reach the top.

When you reach the top, there will be a door that leads to an apartment, but the door is locked, and you will need seven points into the technical attribute to open it. If you don't have that many points, look to the left, and there will be an open window that you can go through onto a stairway platform.

Go through the window and then look right; you will be able to get inside the room by jumping to the next stair platform and then through an open doorway.

Once inside, make your way to the top floor up a broken ceiling as shown above; make sure to loot and explore as you can find a few shards in various rooms. If you need help finding loot, hold tab or your hack key to have icons for it light up.

When you reach the top floor, you should see a hallway like the one above; the room on the far left is where you need to go.

Open the door, and a man's voice will greet you with demanding you to stop in your tracks. This is Cpl. Hare and he is very unstable due to his condition, and you will need to either kill him by choosing the 3rd dialog option or talk him down with the first and second choices.

That said, if you choose the peaceful route by selecting option one or two, you will have a few more dialogue options to resolve this encounter. Check the list below for what each dialogue option does.

  • His death will change nothing: Choose this one if you want to avoid a fight, as you will make him see reason, and he will allow you to take the stolen medicine.
  • Do what you want, but give me the drugs: The second option will deepen his delusions, and he will attack you.
  • I see we're past talking: This next one is self-explanatory; choose it if you just want to fight Hare.
  • You're a soldier, not a terrorist: This option leads down a similar route as the first dialogue choice, but you will hear some of Hare's backstory and the horrors he faced as a soldier.

After whatever decision you make, you can find the stolen medicine in a cabinet, as shown above. Take it and make sure to loot any additional loot in the room, then exit the apartment building. Once outside, you will then need to take the medicine to the nearest drop off point; you can find drop off points via the waypoint on your map or the box icon as shown above.

After you put the medicine in the drop off box, that will be everything you need to do to find the stolen medicine in this quest. For more on Cyberpunk, PGG has you covered.
