Is there a flashlight in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0?

Who turn off the lights?

Cyberpunk 2077 is a dark game, and there is nothing worse than trying to survive firefights in pitch blackness. Because of this, it is no wonder why some are now wondering like I am: is there a flashlight in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0?

Did Cyberpunk 2.0 update add flashlights?

If you are wondering if the 2.0 update for Cyberpunk 2077 added flashlights, the answer is no. There are no options for a flashlight, nor do flashlights exist in-game. Because of this, players have to stick to trudging through the streets of Night City, struggling to see. Fortunately, you can do a few things to help combat the extreme darkness in Cyberpunk 2077, but are by no means perfect fixes.

The first is to play around with the Gamma Correction option. You can find the Gamma Correction option via the Video option inside Settings in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0. Once you the Video settings tab, select Gamma Correction as shown below:

We recommend setting the Gamma setting to around 0.50, depending on how dark the game is on your monitor. Remember that this option might make things look in-game a little grey out. Besides using the Gamma option, you can find night-vision scopes like the HPD Kanone Max Mk.77. However, these scopes are hardly a fix for the darkness as you don't always have your weapon out.
