Where to get ammo in Cyberpunk 2077

Never run out of ammo! Here's how to get more!

Ammo is pretty essential in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. No matter how fancy and high-tech the Night City is, bullets are still a thing that can disappear in a blink of an eye. It's always beneficial to be well stocked with the type of ammo you use.

Where to get ammo in Cyberpunk 2077

There are multiple ways to get ammo in Cyberpunk 2077; the first is to buy it, the second is to find ammo during missions and looting it from corpses, and the third is crafting it yourself. It's always best to have as much ammo on you as possible.

For buying ammo, we've already covered it in our where to buy ammo guide, but a quick recap is to find Weapon Shop and purchase whatever ammo you need from them. Yes, it may cost a bit, but having bullets is better than none.

The next best way to get ammo is by finding ammo boxes during missions, but also by looting the remaining ammo from corpses. The interesting thing about this is that enemies can run out of bullets, the same as you. So the faster you kill the enemy, the more bullets they will have on them. Always aim for those headshots and end the fight quickly to get more ammo.

And last, of all, you can craft your own ammo. However, this requires you to be leveled up and have the perks to do so. When you're in dire straights, having this ability to craft is pretty handy. To craft your ammo, open up and character menu and then selecting crafting. In this menu, you'll be able to see what you can craft and what it will cost to do so. The crafting might not be the best, but it's definitely something.
