How to fix slow download speed for Dark and Darker

Dark and Darker has returned after its legal trouble thanks to Ironmace Games' determination. This dungeon crawler has become my fix and constantly gives me an adrenaline rush. However, some errors can occur, especially regarding servers and downloading of the game. The latter has been exceptionally slow. Here's how to fix it.

That said, there is one solution you can that many are reporting to have success. This is to use a VPN and switch your location to another, with many getting faster downloads with a UK region.

Your mileage may vary just depending on what region you download from and the number of players in that same region and server. Expect slow times, regardless. You may be able to speed up your internet at home by disconnecting other devices relying on the internet, but the effect will likely be minor.
