Dead by Daylight features many of our favorite characters as killers and survivors from across fandoms and Alan Wake is the latest one to join. Here is the release date, survivor perks, and trailer to help you learn more about Dead by Daylight Alan Wake.

What is the release date for Dead by Daylight Alan Wake?

Alan Wake will join Dead by Daylight as a survivor on 30th January. This release date is not to be confused with the game's public beta testing, where players get to test out the survivor earlier. So unless you are one of the beta testers, you will have to wait until 30th January to play as Alan Wake in Dead by Daylight.

All Alan Wake survivor perks in Dead by Daylight

There are three unique survivor perks that come with Alan Wake and here is each of them:

• Champion of Light: This perk activates when you are holding a flashlight and whenever you shine it, you get 50% haste. If you manage to blind the killer, the killer gets 20% Hindered for 6 seconds, but you can not stack both effects. The perk has a cooldown of 80/70/60 seconds.
• Boon: Illumination: Hold the Ability button near a Dull or Hex Totem to bless it, creating a Boon Totem with a 24-meter range. Survivors within this range see the aura of all chests and generators in blue. If you have an active Boon Totem, your speed to cleanse or bless totems increases by 6/8/10%. Only one Boon Totem can be blessed at a time, and all equipped boon perks apply to it.
• Deadline: This perk activates when you are in an injured state and reduces the penalty for missing Skill Checks by half. Skill Checks also appear at random and more often when you repair a generator or heal someone.

The trailer begins by showing Alan sitting at his desk, writing and talking to himself. In an anticipated twist of events, the scene takes a turn, and Alan suddenly finds himself in the world of Dead by Daylight in front of a generator and the killer.
