What do you lose upon death or time loop reset in Deathloop?

What stays and what goes?

Deathloop is all about, well, a time loop. It's a neverending day that keeps on repeating like Groundhog day. You'll keep on repeating the same day over and over, but with new information, making Colt more efficient to take down all of the Visionaries.

You will lose everything you have equipped apart from your knowledge. This means all weapons and trinkets will be gone. Once you restart your run, you'll only have what is inside your hideout, an SMG, a machete, and a double jump trinket.

But after your first Visionary kill, you will be able to harvest something called Risidumm. With this new resource, you can infuse it into your weapons and trinkets. This means that after a reset, you will always keep hold of those new items no matter what. So each run, you'll start to become more and more powerful.

There are two ways the day can end. The first is by dying. This is a proper death after your Reprise uses have run out. The second way is the day naturally coming to an end. After night comes, when you end the day, time will reset from the beginning.
