Are Destiny 2 Dungeons Farmable?

Why are dungeons known for their loot?

Dungeons in Destiny 2 are like mini raids and are a great way for three players to get a similar experience without having to commit too much time or find three more Guardians. Each Dungeon in Destiny 2 (The Shattered Throne, Pit of Heresy, Prophecy, Grasp of Avarice, Duality, and Spire of the Watcher) is uniquely themed with its environments, enemies, and loot. With all this great content, Guardians might be wondering if Dungeons can be farmed.

Can you farm Dungeons in Destiny 2?

Yes, Dungeons in Destiny 2 can be repeatedly farmed for the base loot with random rolls and red border weapons if the Dungeon supports them. Note that only the current dungeon and the weekly rotator will drop Pinnacle Gear on the first completion. Barring that, Guardians can run them as often as they like.

Farming Dungeons is a great way to not only nab all the loot in the loot pool but also practice mechanics if one is inclined to try solo and solo flawless completions. While Dungeons aren't as difficult as a Raid, they can still be tricky with each Dungeon having its own mechanic that must be learned to progress.
