In Destiny 2, as with other MMOs, the gear grind is a major part of the end game experience. Upgrading one's character is akin to a continuation of the leveling system, as is making their character look as cool as possible. However, rather than for looks, weapons and armor are more often than not used to increase the power of the character, and that's why Gyrfalcon's Hauberk, an item that has actually been in the game since the Destiny 2 Season of Plunder, has re-entered the meta as an incredibly powerful chest piece. Below, you will find out how to get your hands on Gyrfalcon's Hauberk as well as why you would want this powerful piece.
Where can I find Gyrfalcon's Hauberk in Destiny 2?
Unfortunately, there are only two ways to acquire Gyrfalcon's Hauberk, and that is through running Legendary or Master Lost Sectors and hoping it will drop at some point. Not only that, but the chest piece does not drop from every one of these Lost Sectors, instead only dropping when noted in the loot table for that day's series of Lost Sectors. Furthermore, the loot tables do not guarantee the drop of an Exotic piece and even if one does drop, there's no way to guarantee Gyrfalcon's Hauberk will be the one that drops. There is no real way to help any of these factors, so you'll have to grind out Lost Sectors until one finally drops the chest piece.
Also, though you can farm both Legendary and Master Lost Sectors for the piece, Legendary Lost Sectors are recommended for farming. The reason for this is that though the Master Lost Sectors have a higher drop rate, the rate is offset by the potentially much more challenging and longer experience Master Lost Sectors offer. Therefore, since Legendary Lost Sectors take less time, they are the recommended option for farming out the chest piece.

What is the Gyrfalcon's Hauberk perk in Destiny 2?
The reason players, especially Nightstalker Hunter players, are trying to get their hands on this chest piece is that it has a unique perk attached to it. Called See Me, Feel Me, this perk's abilities activate when you exit invisibility. First, whenever you exit invisibility, your weapons gain bonus damage for a short time. Secondly, when you exit stealth by performing a finisher on an enemy, you and nearby allies all gain an overshield and increased class ability regeneration.
Though the overshield and regen are also very powerful, many players are looking to grab this chest piece for the damage increase. Although it is a short duration, the damage increase is immense, making it a must-have for certain builds and especially for Nightstalker Hunter's.
