Discord has many great features to keep you connected with friends, but sometimes, you may want to keep your activity private. Whatever your reason for wanting to hide the game you are playing on Discord, here is how to do it.

To hide the game you are playing on Discord, first go to account settings by clicking the gear icon in the bottom left corner next to the mute and deafen buttons (PC), or click your profile picture in the bottom right corner (mobile).

Once you are in your account settings, scroll down to Activity Status. Turn Display current activity as a status message off. Your status will still display if you are online, idle, or away, but will not show what games you are playing while logged into Discord. You can still use all functions like Discord live streaming a game, but your status will remain Invisible.

How to change your Game Status on Discord

To change your Game Status on Discord, click on your profile picture in the bottom left corner and set your status under your profile (PC), or go to your account settings, and change the Game Status under settings. If you do not want people to know you are online on Discord, you can change your status to Invisible, however, other users will not be able to see if you are online.
