How to fully restore Health in Dragon's Dogma 2

In Dragon's Dogma 2, players must deal with two types of health reductions: remaining Health and maximum Health. Each has distinct recovery methods.

Healing the remaining Health in Dragon's Dogma 2 can be replenished through several means, essential for maintaining vitality in battle:

  • Healthy Foods: Consume beneficial foods to regain health. Beware of rotten foods, which restore health but also impose a blighted debilitation.
  • Healing Potions: Utilize potions like Salubrious Draught for immediate health recovery.
  • Mage Support: If your character isn't a mage, including a Mage Pawn in your party can be invaluable. They can cast healing spells that significantly boost your HP during or outside combat scenarios.

Recovering the maximum Health in Dragon's Dogma 2

Missing maximum health in Dragon's Dogma 2 represents a permanent loss that cannot be restored through conventional means like potions or spells. To recover the empty portion, your character needs to rest. Setting up camps or staying at inns are the primary ways to achieve this.

Inns charge a fee that varies by location. For example, Shakir's Inn charges 2000 gold, whereas the Borderwatch Lounge at the Borderwatch Inn costs 1000 gold. Conversely, camping is a cost-effective method, as it is free and equally restorative. This is my preferred method of restoring maximum Health level by far.
