Can you turn motion blur off in Dying Light 2?

To bad you can't kill zombies with blur.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is the sequel to Techland's Dying Light. This new game introduces many new features and changes. It also has improved graphics which include motion blur. Some players may prefer to turn this feature off, leaving many wondering if you can turn off motion blur in Dying Light 2.

The answer is no—you cannot turn motion blur off in Dying Light 2. Players can lower the amount of motion blur on PC but not turn it off completely. Console players do not have this option. To lower motion blur on PC, open the Options menu. Next, go to Video and select Advanced Video Settings. Scroll until you see motion blur and use the arrows to lower it.

While this missing feature is unfortunate, lowering these settings does help—at least for PC players. Those on console, however, are stuck with the motion blur settings and cannot change them. It is possible that Techland will eventually patch Dying Light 2 and include these console options and let players turn it off altogether.

For now, players will have to deal with motion blur. However, the world of Dying Light 2 can be breathtaking, so don't let this feature take away from the beauty of the game.
