The developers of Dying Light 2 have just released Patch 1.0.6, the latest update in a quest to smash various issues plaguing the game. Patch 1.0.6 added various new options to advanced video settings on PC. These settings include motion blur and an option to change distance blur.Â
Patch 1.0.6 also fixed the Death Loop bug. The Death Loop bug for those uninitiated was a bug that would cause players to enter an infinite death cycle after leaving a COOP game.

Thankfully players don't need to worry about encountering this frustrating bug in the future. Other fixes and improvements this latest Patch tackles include crashes and game stability.

- Added additional video settings (including motion blur and distance blur).
- Fixed blocks resulting in player ending in a deathloop after COOP session. Some edge may still not be fixed and are being investigated.
- Death screen now has a button that allows to spawn player inside mission area preventing a block.
- Fixed numerous crashes and fixed game stability.
- Added option to switch in-game voiceover between localized and original (English).
- Various improvements for keyboard and mouse keybinding options (including walk toggle option and switch between toggle and hold aiming
- Proper music now plays for peers in COOP sessions.
