Dying Light 2 will allow players to equip up to six pieces of gear. Each gear piece has an assigned level and belongs to a specific class, yielding different bonuses. The four classes players will get to choose from are Brawler, Ranger, Medic, and Tank. The yellow rarity is definitely the best quality Gears players can acquire in Dying Light 2.

Gears will range from uncommon to legendary rarity in Dying Light 2, and we will have to wait and see how combining gears of the same class works. In theory, gear upgrades should improve a specific class by amplifying its abilities.

In Dying Light 2, players can customize their gear from a pool of over 500 different items. Combining these gear pieces based on classes will help players get more bonuses. For instance, depending on the rarity and level of the gear piece, players will get certain class abilities.

While some gear pieces come with Armor, others have minimal or no Armor. In the end, players will have to select gear pieces based on their needs. This new customization system allows players to select gears according to their desired playstyle.
