Once a mod is downloading, you will need to open the file or zip file up using either the built-in windows open archive feature or a program like 7zip

Inside the file, you will find the mod in the form of a Data Pak file. This Data Pak file will also have a number next to it, like data3.pak, and you will need to copy it into Dying Light 2's source folder. You can find the source folder inside the Dying Light 2 folder at the address below.

  • SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dying Light 2\ph\source

Copy the file into the source folder, and the mod will be installed and will be active next time you launch the game. But if you want to install multiple mods, you will need to make sure you change the number in the mod's Pak file.
