How to unlock fast travel in Dying Light 2?

When can you fast travel?

Dying Light 2 has a massive open-world game with tons of areas to explore, and no open-world game is complete without a fast travel system. Fast traveling in Dying Light 2 is a bit different from other open-world games as fast travel isn't available to players right away. Fast travel will become available to players as they progress through the game's story, specifically after completing the mission Let's Waltz!, which players should do within the first 10 hours.

Once players have unlocked the ability to fast travel, they can find Metro Stations around the map. To unlock a Metro Station for fast travel, players will need to turn on a generator within the Metro Station. After that, players will be able to freely fast travel to that location from anywhere in the game's open world. To actually fast travel, players can hover over the Metro Station and hold the F key (Keyboard), square button (PlayStation), or X button (Xbox).

Sometimes players need to get somewhere fast, and while Dying Light 2 has a great traversal system in its fun parkour movement, fast traveling is the quickest way to get around the game's huge map.
