Should you heal or poison Aitor in Dying Light 2?

Don't poison the Peacekeeper.

Dying Light 2 offers a handful of meaningful choices during the game that can impact what happens to NPCs in the world. Some of the decisions in Dying Light 2 can dictate who survives and who will perish. Aitor is one character players can kill, provided they have a vendetta against the character. Should players poison Aitor in Dying Light 2, or should they leave this well-meaning Peacekeeper to his own devices?

When taking on the Aitor side mission in Dying Light 2, poisoning Aitor will cause his death and trouble at the Peacekeeper stronghold. NPCs involved in the incident will grow to despise Aiden and Margaret, the healer, a woman you met during the side mission in Dying Light 2.

Eventually, the Peacekeepers will track down Margaret and kill her for suggesting the medicine that kills Aitor, though they won't kill Aiden for his misdeeds. We recommend not poisoning Aitor, as there is no benefit for players, and it also inevitably leads to Margaret's demise. Give Aitor the small herbs to save his life. Your effort is better spent building relationships in Dying Light 2, not destroying them.
