With the release of Final Fantasy XIV's newest expansion, Endwalker, players can climb to a new level cap of 90. With increased levels come new skills, and the expansion also tweaks how the Black Mage works. Here are the changes and unique abilities that expand upon the Black Mage class.

Each of the new Spells and abilities for Black mage below as listed by Square Enix:
- New Abilities, Spells, Skills, and Traits
- Trait: Aspect Mastery IV (Level 82)
- Effect: Upgrades Fire II and Blizzard II to High Fire II and High Blizzard II
- High Fire II grants Enchanced Flare stack each time players cast it up to two times.
- Effect: Upgrades Fire II and Blizzard II to High Fire II and High Blizzard II
- Trait: Enhanced Manafont (Level 84)
- Effect: Lowered Manafont recast time to 120 seconds. (Originally 150 seconds)
- Trait: Enchanced Enochian III (Level 86)
- Effect: Improves Enochian's magic damage increase to 20 percent
- Ability: Amplifier (Level 86)
- Effect: Grants one stack of Polygot when used.
- Trait: Enhanced Sharpcast II (Level 88)
- Effect: Allow the accumulation of two charges of Sharpcast.
- Trait: Aspect Mastery V (Level 90)
- Effect: Adds a Paradox marker to your Elemental Gauge after reaching Astral Fire III or Umbral Ice III then swapping to the opposite element.
- Spell: Paradox (Level 90)
- Effect: Deals unaspected damage with a potency of 510. Refreshes the duration of Astral Fire and grants a 40 percent chance to grant Firestarter.
- Firestarter Effect: Next Fire II requires no cast time and costs no MP
- Umbral Ice Bonus: Requires no MP to cast and refreshes duration of Umbral Ice
- Effect: Deals unaspected damage with a potency of 510. Refreshes the duration of Astral Fire and grants a 40 percent chance to grant Firestarter.
- Trait: Aspect Mastery IV (Level 82)
