Final Fantasy XIV adds a new emote and adorable Fat Cat outfit to its online store

Become the Fat Cat.

Love the Fat Cat mount? Can’t get enough of the Fat Cat Minion and Plush? Well time to complete the ensemble with the Fat Cat Outfit in Final Fantasy XIV. The new glamour gear was added to the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store on Wednesday, Oct. 14, giving players the chance to fully embrace the Fat Cat lifestyle.

Retailing for $22.00, the Fat Cat Attire includes five pieces, the Fat Cat Hood, Loungewear, Halfslops, Shorts, and Slippers, fitting into the Head, Chest, Legs, Alt Legs, and Feet, respectively.

The Piece is fully dyeable as well, allowing you more cat customization. Still, the real selling point of these are the adorable slippers.

On top of this purr-fect pairing of outfits, a new emote was added. Known as the Deride emote, this is a silly face-pulling emote that players have pined after for over a year now. First revealed in the Zadnor Critical Engagements in June 2021, this was the signature grimace of the NPC Pagaga of The Pride. Now it’s yours to grab for $7 on the Mog Station and Online Store.

Overall, this is a fantastic pair of light-hearted additions to the Final Fantasy XIV store that provide a nice element of relaxation following the chaos of the recent patches.
