Final Fantasy XIV Jan. 3 Maintenence Schedule

MMOs like Final Fantasy XIV often undergo scheduled maintenance. As an always-online experience, these tweaks can only be done when the game's service is taken down. Square Enix is doing their first big update of the year on Jan. 3, so make sure you know when the servers go offline.

Final Fantasy XIV has scheduled maintenance for all worlds on Jan. 3, 2022. During scheduled maintenance, players cannot access the game. The update will introduce patch 6.05 to Final Fantasy XIV. We've listed the scheduled maintenance period below for Final Fantasy XIV and the Lodestone:

FF XIV Game Maintenence Time

  • Jan. 3, 2022 9:00pm to Jan. 4 2:00am (PT)
  • Jan. 4, 2022 12:00am to Jan. 4 5:00am (ET)

FF XIV Lodestone Maintenence Time

  • Jan. 3, 2022 10:00pm to Jan. 4, 2022 2:00am (PT)
  • Jan. 4, 2022 1:00am to Jan. 4, 2022 5:00am (ET)

The Final Fantasy XIV Companion App will also be unavailable until the maintenance period has ended.

Update 6.05 brings the latest event to Final Fantasy XIV, As the Heavens Turn. The upcoming event allows players to earn exclusive items, including the Gold Tora Kabuto and Silver Tora Kabuto helmets. We've added a preview of these rare helmets below:
