How to get the Isle Onion Prince Mount in Final Fantasy XIV

Ride the Onion Prince!

For Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.2, Square Enix went all out, adding new mounts and minions, especially for the Island Sanctuary. These include a trio of Mandragora-themed mounts, including the Isle Onion Prince Mount. But how exactly do you get your hands on the Isle Onion Prince Mount in FFXIV?

Purchasing the Isle Onion Prince Mount

The Isle Onion Prince Mount is purchased at the Island Sanctuary from the Horrendous Hoarder NPC (X: 12.6, Y: 28.4, Z: 0.4). It’s available for 12,000 Seafarer’s Cowries. Seafarer’s Cowries are one of the new currencies earned on the Island Sanctuary, along with Island Experience and Island Cowries.

They’re used for upgrading your Island Sanctuary and purchasing minions, mounts, and glamour gear from the Sanctuary. However, because they’re used for upgrading your Island Sanctuary and purchasing collectible items, it’s best to be careful before spending it all on mounts!

The Horrendous Hoarder NPC will appear after you’ve built your first structure in your Hideaway, the Cozy Cabin I. The Horrendous Hoarder NPC and the Enterprising Exporter will be inside the cabin, just behind the counter. They’re your main trade and currency conversion source at the Island Sanctuary!
