How to get the Lynx of Eternal Darkness mount in Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker brings an entirely new set of Main Scenario Quests for players to participate in, and like the expansions before Endwalker, there are several new Extreme Trials to tackle, which grant lucky players new mounts, like the Lynx of Eternal Darkness. Here's how you can net this new mount for your collection.

Heads up: this guide offers spoilers for the story of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker. We recommend returning after you've finished the Main Scenario Quest: "Endwalker."

To earn the Lynx of Divine Darkness, players will have to take on the Zodiark Extreme Trial: The Minstrel's Ballad: Zodiark's Fall. This level 90 trial pits players against a more powerful version of the Zodiark boss. Upon completing the trial, Zodiark has a chance of dropping the Lynx of Eternal Darkness Flute. This item allows players to summon the Lynx of Eternal Darkness, adding it to their catalog of mounts.

The chance that the Lynx of Eternal Darkness Flute drops is minuscule at best, so players may need to farm for 99 Astral Totems, which players can trade to Nesvaaz in Radz-at-Han (X: 10.6 Y: 10.0) in exchange for the Lynx of Eternal Darkness Flute.
